Wooden Bowl's Blog will likely stay to topics on the web site, though perhaps I'll get political at times, especially when frustrated by the national system that actively hinders independent politicians from having much influence. Anonymous comments are enabled, but must be approved (to keep spammers out), but anyone registered on the site can comment immediately.

July Meeting at Joy Goldstein’s house

No one has been posting info on the monthly meetings, but we’ve generally been holding them as scheduled at Joy Goldstein’s house at 10329 S.W. Bank Road, a half mile west of Vashon center. We’ll continue to take advantage of her hospitality for the next meeting: July 14th, at 7 PM.

A bit belatedly, I wanted to send out an appreciation for Tom Herring and Maryrose Asher's regular insightful columns in the Greener Times newsletter - available at http://greenertimes.wordpress.com.

The Vashon-Maury Island Green Party’s monthly meeting (second Tuesday of each month) will be at Joy Goldstein’s home.

Greens, Democrats, Independents, and other interested progressives always welcome!

DATE: Tuesday, June 8, 7:00 to 9:00 PM LOCATION: 10329 SW Bank Road, Vashon

DIRECTIONS: From Vashon center, go west on SW Bank Road 0.3 miles. Joy’s home is on the south side. Park along Bank Road.
