Just so you don't freak, I note a number of items you should all be aware of...
- Please use the REGISTER link on the bottom of the page to set up an account for yourself. (The public doesn't need to do this, but our volunteers should. We could have members sign up and manage their address info, but that would only work if they used the site on a regular basis.)
- Then, after I enable your account and you return in a day or so, you can login and you will have editing rights to the site and see more options than if you don't login.
- The events calendar needs a fair amount of style work, but will get us going for now.
- The home page News/Announcement listing will likely change to a new technology too.
- There are a number of color schemes (click on the icon at the bottom to try them out) - but none are very good. Let me know if you like any of them and feel free to suggest other sites with better color combinations.
Links on the site largely still point to the old site (I just copied over the old text) and so are unlikely to work properly. This shoudn't be too hard to fix, if we keep this organization and what not.
- I'm sure there is more, but the big thing we should discuss next Tuesday is what content we'd like to have and who will be in charge of which pages.
